I've got a shed with a single sloping roof. It's actually a lean-to, as one wall is my (very sturdy) fence, so there is only one slope. The roof is chipboard with a roofing felt overlay, and is waterproof. The rain all runs off the roof and I want to divert it all to one end.Ordinarily I'd put a gutter under the low edge, but a good section of the roof is very close to a wall - about 20cm - so there is no space to work in there. It's over 2 meters so very hard to get to.My current solution is some narrow planks (10x10cm cross section) fixed to the roof, at an angle, with roofing tape on it. This drains the water towards the front of the shed (the door end) and I plan to put in a gutter, pipes and sump to collect this water. But it's clear this is only a temporary fix - some water still leaks down the side.So - what's the best way of doing this? I've seen a youtube fix for tiled roofs which I thought was quite elegant using an "L" cross-sectional metal post, but it required sliding under tiles, which I don't have.Any ideas? This can't be the first time this has been done. Thanks!Edit: I can't fix anything to the next door wall. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2X8k6eg
