So my parents have given me the opportunity of a lifetime to manage about $50,000. After having left the money in CDs (and savings accounts) and realizing small interest gains, they are finally ready to trust me with it.
I am planning on putting most of the money into companies with strong history of incremental dividend payouts and fundamentals.
Now, aside from looking at which indexes or stocks to invest in, I need help in deciding what platform to use. I understand that fees can take away much of your earnings, and I don't plan on trading often aside from readjusting once in a while.
Are there specifically good platforms for reinvesting your dividend payouts and if so, what makes them so good? Thanks for the help!
