The metal electrical boxes that the light switches are in have rounded inner corners. This isn’t an issue for a single gang box since it is wide enough for my switches. However the 2 gang (and presumably 3 and 4 gang) boxes aren’t wide enough to fit the switches I have. The switches are wide and boxy with square corners. I’ve used a metal hand file to file down the inner corners which allows the switches to fit. However this is a lot of work. I can’t replace the boxes and I can’t use an electric grinder since that would send sparks and grit all over the finished building interior. There must be either a better way or a trick to this. I have a lot of these to do. Maybe a sawzall could work be I think the stroke length is to long.Any ideas on how to make this work? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2D832fi
