It's usually just the packaged that is damaged. The contents are good and brand new. The price will be lowered because the seller can't sell it on Amazon and it cant pass as Good condition on ebay.
Its a great alternative to "Opened Package" where you just get an item in questionable condition.
I work for an eccommerce company. The deals are usually great.
