I want to thank PF for this. I've read many posts about bills being sent out and people can't afford it or whatever situation someone is having. So I decided to call and see if I can get the bill lowered. Scripps sent out a bill a few weeks ago for $289, and with my car bill coming up and other financial bills, I know I couldn't pay for it upfront. So gave them a call and within less than 5 minutes, they told me they completely wrote off the bill and $0 was due.
For anyone that is having similar problems or they can't afford a bill, a simple call can go many ways, so if you've been holding onto a bill that you can't pay, be patient and just give them a call and let them know your situation. Good luck!
