I’m thinking about possibly getting a dog in the coming months. But I’ve always been dissuaded by the articles talking about the cost of pet ownership. They estimate 1k in the first year and recurring costs of 600-700 per annum. I’m here looking for answers from those of you that own dogs (or pets in general, maybe).
1). Do these numbers strike you as consistent with your own experience? 2). Have you made any pet purchases that you regret? 3). How do you cut down on the cost of your dog?
