I just bought a house and I have a gross tired bathroom that I want to spruce up but don't have a lot of cash to devote to it. The tub alcove is all tile (old mustard yellow blech!). I talked to a reglazer and he suggested putting up a fiberglass insert over the tub and he will come back and reglaze the tub and tiles above the wall and on the ceiling.My questions are: Has anyone done this before? How hard was it? Should I choose the rigid, screw in type or the glue up type?I feel like if I take the tile out I will be opening a can of worms.
