I have a glue down wood laminate floor on slab. Had some minor water damage but contractor says existing floor is solid enough to glue down replacement floor right on top of existing floor. Pulling up existing glue down floor is expensive and everything I’ve read says “you don’t want to DIY - pay someone to do it.”Here are choices I’m presently considering. 1. Have contractor install glue down floor. 2. I put in a quality ‘click-lock’ wood laminate floor myself.I’m pretty capable of attacking most remodeling tasks.Advice? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2T4nWpG
