Hello, my mom made oatmeal on the stove this morning. Later, I tried to make myself eggs and the stove is not heating up. The oven doesn't heat up either. All the lights, clock, etc... seems to be working. I took apart the range, everything looks good... no burnt wires or anything. I read online that the lights work on 110v. but the heating elements only work if they are getting 220v.I checked the plug with a multi-meter. Both hots to a ground are good. But hot to hot I read 0v. I get the same thing checking the double pole breaker in the fuse box. I checked another double pole breaker and I get the same thing. I pulled out the double pole breaker and everything looks fine, no corrosion or anything.what gives? I read online that hot to hot should read 240v. is this true? what could be affecting this? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2DPDcOL
