I'm going to install modular carpet tiles in a sunken den area. Installation can be done with glue or with carpet tile tabs (example: http://bit.ly/2S8tgbD). The backing is vinyl, which I assume provides some level of grip, so that I could use any tape (such as a clear gorilla tape) as a replacement for the tabs (which have a non-slip backing).Just curious if anyone has done something similar? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2t4YOR5
