Hi, first time poster and long-timer lurker here. I am a british PhD student living in france. Currently I have 1.5 years left on my contract, and I am guaranteed residency here even in the event of an NDB. This includes health and social insurance.
However I will only be returning to the UK for one week before march 29th, and I would like some advice on things to consider. I already know that I will need to exchange my driving license for an EU license, and I am considering closing my old student savings account. However the government documentation on what exactly will be required for my situation is unhelpful at best and opaque at worst. Is anyone in a similar situation and what would you suggest I consider?
