I am trying to remove some old grip strips from my bathtub to replace them. Everything I have found online suggests using vinegar or hot water and soap to soak them before using a plastic scraper to remove. I tried this and spent about 40 minutes to only get about 80% of one off.My question is this: Can I safely use a heat gun to melt the adhesive without damaging the tub? Will the heat gun even work?
