I am replacing two separate bathroom fans for one in-line bathroom exhaust fan. Currently the two separate fans are on the same breaker. My question is, does this mean I can safely run the two separate wires into a junction box and have them join to one wire coming out to the new fan. This will allow the fan to be turned on by either switch in both bathroom. My understanding is that because the two old fans are on the same breaker, that they are sharing the same power source, and therefore there should be no issue wiring nutting the hot wires together. Thanks! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Nt8az9
