I’m wondering if anyone has attempted building something like the Mui display. The display looks amazing, but I’m imagining a larger wood, monitor sized slab with a magic mirror software running on it and a simple veneer layer over the screen. Should be relatively easy, but I can’t find anything like it. Are there any foreseeable problems I’m not seeing ? And any advice on possible materials, I’d need a bright screen to properly display through the veneer. This made me think of putting and LED matrix behind the veneer then it could look similar to those cool wooden clock blocks. Any advice or opinions will help ! via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2G3kfcD
