A number of things inspired me to get into investing but the main ones were a math class focused on personal finance and the other was that I wanted to have a little extra “fun money” to buy something I wanted and the tools became available to invest yourself for low fees/taxes. It seems a bit silly but then my love of it grew from there to what it is today.
