What are the areas of your life that you like to splurge, or spend lavishly on?
I'll share our example.
My wife and I are both pretty frugal, by standard of our peers, and the households we grew up in.
We make our own soap, and detergents. All of our entertainment is free. We grow most of our food, and buy in bulk in season and preserve it. Our clothes and furniture was 95% gifted or thrifted.
However when we travel (We live in a small community a ways from any major city's) we tend to search out pretty nice farm to table restaurants, we will order multiple appetizers, and multiple desserts. It's an area of our lives that we really enjoy, and tend to really splurge in this area.
