I recently bought a Satchel & Page briefcase used on Craigslist. I'm happy with the leather finish on the exterior and the bag itself, but the inside is finished very rough -- to the point that if I run a tissue over it, there will be shards of paper stuck on the surface. It is quite uncomfortable to touch or run hand over (like when I place the laptop inside or take out something from the main compartment). This finish is on the inside flap as well as the interior of the main compartment and the inside of the strap where there is no padding. Is there anything I can do to smooth it out?
