So I'm not looking for budgeting or strategy I legitimately don't know how to actually pay these debts.
So I have about 15K give or take according to Credit Karma. Pretty much all in collections. My wife has like 5K. Same story. We haven't paid on anything but our cars in about 2 years. I'm finally in a place to start dropping lump sum payments.
How do I do it? Do I just call these places? If I pay it does that help my credit? What helps my credit best?
One company took me to court and instead of filing bankruptcy I just had a lawyer show up and he asked for proof and they couldn't provide it and to my knowledge the judge threw it out. Do I still owe that debt? It's on my Credit Karma
So I guess what's my next steps having completely neglected my credit for 2 years.
