I found this enlightening because we see on a daily basis of something that was made 20 years ago, but clearly the quality of certain products have severely regressed. Point in case from the thread, Craftsman tools.
This is a long shot, but I also hope that this thread discourages people from posting something from 30 years ago unless they can say for certainty that the build quality is the same. This isn’t r/BOUGHTItForLife
