My boyfriend and I have separate bank accounts and would like to keep them separate nor open a new account. For a while he would withdraw money and then I would have to deposit it for bills, but we wanted something more automated. With that being said, our apartment complex does not let us split it in their system, so it all comes out of my account. We tried to do bill pay through Wells Fargo for his account, but weren't aware it was physical check. His bank said that he should be using Zelle instead, but my bank doesn't use it and I don't like that it is a mobile app and has security issues.
What do other couples do to pay their bills and why is Wells Fargo's Bill Pay discouraged?
