[Meta] Should we consider retiring some items from BIFL that are dominating this sub, like Stanley thermoses, Darn Tough, and especially things with their own sub (r/RedWingShoes, r/castiron...)?

Maybe the sidebar should include some links to the best posts on favorite BIFL items, and other resources on these items. But then make a policy to remove any further posts that are nothing more than pictures of these items that may be more relevant in another sub, like r/WellWorn, r/thriftstorehauls, etc. It may help to declutter the sub and allow more informative posts stand out.
