We live in an older home with an attic hatch that's not exactly standard.http://bit.ly/2RUkBZw is what the hatch looks like with the two locks that we remove. The ladder is not a fold up style ladder, it's a wooden ladder that slides straight down as the hatch is lowered. When the hatch is closed this particular ladder lays straight across the hatch and on the floor of the attic, hence my particular issue. If you look at the image above you can see about a 1/4" gap that has a massive draft. The sides of the hatch are a bitch drafty too but nothing compared to that monster.I've looked into attic "tents" and building a box cover, but the way my ladder lays I don't know how effective that would be.Anyone have any ideas how I can stop this draft without having to buy a whole new ladder/hatch kit? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2DgxGEE
