I had a baby last year and went on parental leave from my job. At the end of the leave, I asked if I could work from home instead of commuting; they turned me down. I haven't found a new position and have stayed home with the baby in the meantime.

Half a year later, they've reached out and offered me my old position, and will allow me to work from home. Seems they've had trouble filling the position and/or have had issues with whomever they hired. I happened across the job listing they posted before my parental leave and they were offering more per hour than I was making at the time. Should I ask for more than I was making before I left? If so, how much?
