Somehow in 2017 I contributed $3500 to a traditional IRA in addition to $5500 into a Roth IRA. I’m just noticing this now... I didn’t contribute in 2018, so I’m wondering if it is possible move the over contributions into 2018 tax year? Or do I just take out the extras and pay a penalty? Or do I leave it and hope nobody notices?

This is all through capital one Sharebuilder but they moved all my accounts to Etrade a few months ago

Thanks!
