We bought our second house early in 2018 and we love it. The only thing that we knew might be an issue was the basement. It was developed but with no permits and not by a professional.I'm not going to get into all the different things that have to be fixed but I would like to focus on the biggest problem. The bathroom: https://imgur.com/a/ArRdZp0Yup, it looked nice until we had a friend use it and this is what we found out.The shower pan is not level and the water pools to the back. When the water gets high enough to meet the drain, it doesn't drain properly. The toilet sings... really badly. The drain assembly for the sink is bent so there is a gap between the drain and the sink bottom so when you run water in the sink, some water goes down the drain, the rest flows down the outside of the drain to the floor. The shower grout is coming apart. The tiles on the floor are uneven, falling apart and some are broken. The duct in this bathroom was cut from a central line and a huge register was put in so this room gets SUPER HOT.The fan is not directed outside but into the ceiling. The little closet space they made beside the shower is too small to be functional and you can't clean it.The door was not installed correctly so it doesn't latch.**KICKER!** The shower sliding glass door worked for our friend when she closed it. What we didn't know was that when it gets closed, the rail sliders at the top hit a bent track and drop the glass door out of the hangers. The handle is only on the outside so when she tried to slide the door open, it was jammed into the bottom groove and you cannot slide it from there. While she was in the shower, I had to pass her a towel to cover herself while I lifted the door out of the track and rock it from side to side until she could get out.I've been authorized to REDO it.
