This it has been a LONG time since I’ve had that much (like,since I was a teenage living at home with no bills except for gas and car insurance). I have about $4,500 total to my name in my checking account, 2 savings and miscellaneous cash. And I have no more bills to pay for the month!
I’ve been trying so hard to save by skimping out on the ‘fun’ activities like going out to eat and doing paid activities like amusement parks or vacations because I want to buy a house and stop paying rent to my crappy apartment that I can’t even paint the walls. Another year or so and I should have enough for a down payment for an FHA loan on a small starter 2 bedroom in my area.
Does anyone have any experience with FHA loans? Any advice is appreciated.
But I mostly wanted to celebrate my savings victory! I am on my way there.
