BIFL bought these Alico mountaineering boots about 5 months ago and not only are they the most comfortable boots, they’re beyond durable. Handmade in Italy, resoleable, and fully waterproof Perwanger leather. Worn daily in wet conditions. I treat them with Aquaseal wax once a week.
My $20 Brahma boots I got in 2008 are still going strong. Lasted through rain, snow, hiking, yard work and working in a warehouse.
