Hey all.

Looking for some advice here. My husband and I have been together for 4 years. We have two children and are both planning to leave the military soon. In preparation we’ve had multiple talks about saving money, but I can’t seem to get him on track. I’ve saved enough that I’ve been able to pay off his car, all his college loans, and put a very nice nest egg away for us. Somehow, he’s still dropping the ball. Credit card is always 1000+, savings is pretty low, regularly forgets to pay his car loan (which we only got to fix his credit, and it’s joint so now both of our scores have lowered).

We don’t necessarily fight about money, but it’s frustrating that I work so hard to save for us and plan for our future while he spends his money on Starbucks and who knows what else.

How do I get him on track?? I’m at a loss. I can’t keep being the only money savvy spouse here.
