I had a quick search but couldn't find anything... I was wondering how much people spend on their weekly food shop.
I often pop to the shops on the way home and buy bits, but I know this probably isn't the best way to go as I'll end up buying more and not making the most of what I have.
I'm looking for a weekly budget that I can try and stick to. I don't want to eat beans on toast and pasta all the time, but I also don't want to go over the top.
Is £30 a week an ok amount for a single person to spend? Once I've got used to doing a weekly shop for that amount I can start finding tricks to help me cut down (I already love the reduced section for meat and veg).
