Let me set an example - let's say every month I set aside $100 for car repair, so there is a line in my budget for this. When I get the money, I fill it in to show that It has been set aside for this line item. Then, later in the month, I need to do a $75 repair on the car. How do I fit that in the budget? If I add it in as a new item, such as "expenses" the budget would show that I spent $175 when I actually only spent $100
