I just purchased a Honeywell Lyric Round thermostat to replace my old standard thermostat. I have it installed and seemingly mostly working from just matching the wires up. The only problem is - if I connect the fan wire, the fan will does not ever switch off. I have tried disconnecting the "C" wire and also the "O" wire, both solutions I have found on the net from searching, but the behavior does not change. If the green fan wire is connected, the fan runs.I had the fan set to "off" while trying this. The system seems to work fine right now with it connected like this, I just can't run the fan separately. The unit is a Carrier Puron heat pump from around 1999.Old thermostat:http://bit.ly/2D6uAmd thermostat:http://i65.tinypic.com/9itufn.jpg via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2D8IHrv
