My husband and I have a serious food budgeting problem, and I know we have to get it under control. But even if I set a budget and swear to order take-out less, or look up budget friendly meals, or protein sources per $1, we never improve!
Last year we usually spent a grand on food each month. For two people! That's so dumb!
I want to be better, but I keep setting budgets and getting stuck on all the details and never get it under control.
Does anyone have a go-to meal that is budget friendly, easy to prepare, and yes delicious too? Tips how to transition from mostly take-out to mostly prepared at home? How to shop for a whole week of meals for less than say $100?
