So I'm unhappy with my kitchen setup in my new rented home, and I'm trying to build a small floating countertop to help.I can post a picture if it will help, but basically I need a piece of material that's 60 in by 26 in. should I use like countertop material? or wood, and I can just stain it?I don't know much about this, so I'm just curious what my cheapest option is, and where can I go get it?I was also thinking of just putting three or 4 legs on it and making it a table and sliding it into place, as I can't really screw anything into the existing counter.
