Long story short my father and I are restoring an old house. After sanding the floors a couple passes he wanted to fill the spaces between the boards. He used saw dust and glue,(to save a buck) Not epoxy or varnish. We have the Hummel sander and orbital all the good stuff but problem is after the glue dried it's not coming up with the sander and he's saying because he opened up the floor with a couple passes then put the glue down its embedded in and the floor is ruined now. I got a couple corners going with an orbital but it takes a lot of muscle to do very little. He worked his ass off to get to this point and knew better not to use glue. He's ready to give up and just get carpet installed. Any saving this one? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2QNiJ05
