Growing up in a small town in a poor family I never had an option for cell phones and such, now that im in college and making part time earnings I need to cave and get one mostly due to my employer wanting to be able to call me in in case someone doesn't show. I've always gotten by with google hangouts on an old galaxy s3 so I don't have much knowledge on how phone plans work, any advice is appreciated.
I don't expect to call much on it, in fact ill probably just use hangouts again so really I just want to be able to receive calls that way. I've considered a prepaid plan but I've heard that you still have to buy minutes every month due to them expiring or something like that.
My area is around the northern Idaho area, encase knowing the area would help determine a better option.
