Whether giving or receiving, practical presents are amazing! My family has always poked fun at me for asking for gift cards, or everyday useful items. This year's Christmas list was blankets, fuzzy socks, nice soap, stuff that I use all the time. My parents got me and oversized electric blanket and made a few jokes about me not wanting fun things. I never would have bought that on my own, and I know I'll enjoy having it. This weekend we are getting a lot of snow, and the heat in my apartment wasn't working when we got home. The maintenance guy will fix it tomorrow, but until then, my whole family can fit under this amazing blanket and stay warm while we sleep!
