I'm sure we've had threads like this before but I wanted to share a little win I just had. Some settings in my phone went screwy last month and my wifi was being constantly shut off (traced problem to location services by the way). This meant I was using data. I ended up with $100 in overages - bummer. Today I called, explained the issue and that I knew it wasn't their problem but could they do anything. No problem, 2 minutes later I had a $50 credit on my account. Probably being courteous, explaining the issue and taking responsibility, coupled with being a customer for several years, meant they were happy to help.

Obviously I was lucky and it was my own fault, but it never hurts to ask, you may just get lucky yourself!
