According to credit karma, I have a credit score of 673. The only thing I have on there is 6 good standing student loans with the average age of 1 yr and 11 months. I applied for the chase freedom unlimited card and got denied for: no general purpose credit card, balances on accounts are high compared to credit extended, average age of accounts reported within 6 months is too short. My situation/argument for what I’m planning to say will be: I want to build credit while earning rewards in the process. I’d rather try to build a long history with this card than get a starter one and reapply for the same card a year or two later, especially since there’s a chance I would want to pair this with a chase sapphire card in the future. I make $27k a year and I have no bills besides my student loans which is about $10k-$11k. The monthly payments are about $110 a month but I can pay them off a lot quicker. I don’t pay for rent/car/phone/internet or anything besides these loans.

Are these good arguments for reconsideration and is there anything to add? How good are my chances of getting approved?
