The title says it all, but I am looking for a functional black-and-white printer and scanner that won't break the bank. I have never owned a home printer before, so I am pretty clueless about the type of printer I need as well how much ink and paper might cost. In case it matters, the reason I need my own printer and scanner is to prepare immigration documents over the course of the next couple of years. Do any of you have any recommendations?
