Hi r/personalfinance, long time lurker here. So right to the point, I'm 29 years old and have a 401k plan through my work.
I have been contributing to it for about 3 years and have messed with the contributions in it. Tonight i was perusing it to see how it was doing only to realize that i have no idea what I'm looking at.....Here is a screenshot of my distribution/contributions. I just need help understanding the basics of what Im looking at. Are the red numbers good? Bad? Is it growing? Any recommendations on what i should be contributing to? Please and thank you guys.
Edit 1: Its through The Standard in case that helps/makes a difference.
