Hi I'm 21 Y/O looking to take my next step into financial planning. I'm the only working person in a home of two children. Right now I make a little more than $20/hour (40+/- hour weeks) but within the next 2-3 years I will be making $30+. I am by no means rich, but am fairly good at budgeting and keeping my expensices low.
The only "financial investment" I have at the moment in an annuity which is offered though my local. It currently has a little more than $2,000 in it through out the year and change I have been working here. But I feel as If I need to diversify my portfolio. Any thoughts or ideas that I should be heading towards in the near 1-2 years is appreciated.
Short version : 21y/o, has an annuity but wants to diversity portfolio.
