Recently my husband traded up his kindle for a larger kindle. It reminded me that I have my own kindle fire, nextbook flexx 8, as well as two laptops that are lying around unused. The laptops were our kids' that they outgrew, my kf rarely gets used and mostly just for reading, the nextbook was a gift that, frankly, I find to be a pain in the hind-end to even use so that is used even less than the kf. I believe I can just bring them all to Best Buy for recycling. But I am wondering if I am overlooking some other opportunity? (I don't need a tablet at all - greatly prefer just using my laptop and actual books instead.) Also, if going to a pawn shop to see if they're worth anything to them, how do I make sure all personal info is gone? Is setting back to factory settings good enough?
