Hey everyone Im a seasonal helper for UPS. I took three weeks off to study for finals and then I went to the station to look for my paycheck which is completely lost. When I was searching for it one of the supervisors asked me to work and I expressed concerns about not being employed anymore due to not working for several weeks. She assured me that I was still employed so I've been working for the past week.

Turns out according to my UPSers profile that Ive been laid off as they have restricted my access and now have a link available for an exit interview. No more access to my time card and no paychecks yet theyre still calling me to come work. Its completely unbearable how disorganized they are.

I was planning on moving later this week for school. Their management/ HR never picks up their phone so my only hope is to maybe go in there some time later this week to straighten things out but theres no guarantee the right person will be there.

What are my options here? I can do the wage claim but I heard those take a while ? I also want to get paid for the several trips I made going to the station to talk to HR and search for my paycheck. Can I sue them in small claims court from a different county after I move ?

Thank you very much.
