I want to spend as low as possible on food so I made a list of what I would eat everyday:
1 can of sardines, 1 potato, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1 egg, 1 tomato, 0.8 cup of rice (raw), 0.5 cup of lentils, 4-6 slices of bread, salt and that's it nothing else.
That totals to about £ 20-22 per 2 weeks, but I didn't add any snacks or anything, just trying to avoid them. I'm wondering if that is enough, should I include more, am I missing on any nutrients, etc. I thought instead of buying oil I'll use the oil from the can of sardines for cooking. I can live without spices and have a rice cooker which I will use for cooking.
I calculated the cost for 2 weeks because I pay my room rent every 2 weeks, so that would make it easier to calculate my expenses.
Any way to improve the list?
