Hey, guys!
I'm 26F. Moved to Denver in Feb 2018 from South Carolina, so still trying to build a real winter wardrobe. I've been layering up with a light fleece Columbia jacket and a Calvin Klein trench coat for commuting but this isn't cutting it now that it's getting colder. I'm looking for a nice and warm coat to go over my Columbia fleece jacket.
I've tried doing research and asking around but everyone has different opinions and there are so many choices. I've been told LL Bean, North Face, Arc'teryx, Patagonia, and Carhartt (and Canada Goose if you want to really be warm and drop money).
I really like the Carhartt jackets but I'm wondering if this is warm enough?
I know it doesn't get that cold here but I'm looking for a warm winter coat that would be warm here in Colorado as well as the midwest and northeast.
Please help me narrow down some brands to go try on
