So we received several checks this Christmas, including a few addressed to our young children. I was signing them with my name and “parent of minor”, when I realized I had signed a check for my wife in that way by mistake.
I crossed it out and wrote “endorsed in error”, and will have her sign it. Any chance they accept it, or will we need to get the check re-written from the gift giver?
