I’m confused. I own a collection of stocks in the Cannabis and CBD market. The United States farm bill passed that would legalize hemp yesterday. All that’s needed is Trump’s signature. I was expecting my stocks to go up today but instead they all dropped across the board. I haven’t read any news to explain this drop. Can someone offer me some insight as to what the hell is going on. I own stock in Aurora, canopy growth, alkaline water company, Scott’s miracle grow and a few other small companies. I’m new to investing but I was expecting a change in laws like this to benefit these stocks significantly, especially since almost all of the companies I am invested in have been gearing up for this to happen. Please stock geniuses bring me your insight!
