I should have taken a photo, but this year we bought brown postal paper instead of Christmas wrapping paper. It was 6 dollars for a 300 foot roll which is a GOOD bit larger than your standard Christmas roll. We then bought 7 stamps for 25 bucks at a nice art store (not super frugal, but well use them for years to come). We rolled out the paper got all the kids handed out stamps and told them to make the paper.
It ended up being a really good time, everything looked really nice and the kids had a blast! All for miles less than usual.
