I know everyone hates boot requests but I think this is a unique discussion/request...
So, recently I've been browsing BIFL boot brands (specifically, wolverine and redwing heritage) and I have noticed a frustrating pattern. The men's versions of the boots will come in more colours, models, with different/better soles, and the women's options are much more limited and reviews claim that they're lower quality.
I'm looking for a boot that's in the style of Redwing's Iron Ranger or Wolverine's 1000 mile boot... HOWEVER, I want an aggressive, slip-resistant sole (Like the Men's Wolverine 1000 mile Arctic Grip boot) and I can't find one! All of Wolverine's 1000 mile women's boots don't have any rubber sole on them at all... and Redwing's Iron Rangers look like they have a decent sole, but reviews say the build quality is significantly lower than the men's boots.
I'm looking for a company that offers either one of two solutions.
- Is there a company that makes boots in a style similar to the Iron Ranger/1000 mile Arctic Grip women's boot that isn't a cheaper/shittier version of the men's
- A company that will custom-make the men's version, but in a smaller size (I'm a size 7 women's).
