My fiance and I are starting to think about what we want to register for and something that's really important to us is that we only register for quality items that will not only last in the physical sense, but in regards to our tastes. For instance, we probably won't be registering for His and Hers items, because while they'll bring about warm and fuzzy feelings in the beginning, we know the novelty will fade. Same for wild colors or patterns. We want to register for things that will hopefully be staying with us for most, if not all of our marriage.
What suggestions do you have for a wedding registry with a BIFL mindset? Brand-specific suggestions as well as general suggestions are welcome. And non-traditional registry items as well. What BIFL items do you wish you had when you started out?
